某社独身寮
北九州エリアの同社工場で働く独身者のための社員寮。寮で暮らす社員同士のコミュニケーションを促す設えが屋内外に施されている。敷地と建物配置から生まれるT形のオープンスペースを「T_Garden」と位置づけ、２つの空間によって構成した。一つは街とのインターフェースとなるおよそ75mの庭で、並木と低木刈込による緑の構えとしている。もう一つはゲートから建物をつなぐ庭で、日常のONとOFFを切り替える空間を３つの特徴の異なる庭で設えた。動きのある表現のアプローチ庭、ラウンジと連続して利用できる光庭、和室に併設した芝生の庭。居住者のための快適な住空間と、街並みの景観向上に寄与する計画としている。

Employees Dormitory
A dormitory for employees working at a factory in Kitakyushu area. Both the interior and exterior of the dormitory is designed to encourage communication among the employees living there. "T_Garden", a T-shaped open space created by the site and its building’s layout is composed of two spaces. One of the them is a 75m wide garden that acts as the city’s interface, and is lined with trees and shrubs. Another is a garden that connects the gate to the building and its area is comprised of 3 unique features. The Garden approach with an expression of flow, the Light garden that acts as a lounge, and the Lawn garden that imitates a Japanese-style room. Overall, the garden is designed to provide a comfortable living space for residents and to contribute to the enhancement of the cityscape.
