数寄屋橋公園（四丁目側）
大木の緑による既設の面影を残しつつリノベーションを行った。高架下商業のファサードを覆っていた緑地帯はショーウインドウに面するプラザへと姿を変え、名物となっている宝クジ売場への行列スペースと公園内の動線とをスムーズに棲み分けられる様にした。また木々の足元には石積みを含め、テーブルやベンチによるちょっとした腰掛け場としてのバリエーションをつくった。石積みは改修を重ねながらも使われてきた「数寄屋橋」の石材を主に流用している。銀座の玄関口として街に溶け込んできたさりげない脇役の魅力を再構築した。

Sukiyabashi Park (4 blocks side)
In this project, we renovated a park while retaining the original leafy atmosphere created by the existing large trees. A strip of greenery that had previously hidden the façades of stores located below an underpass was transformed into a plaza facing the display windows, and pedestrian traffic through the park was rearranged to flow smoothly without intersecting the lines that form outside a well-known lottery ticket booth also located here. The masonry was repaired but for the most part reused the existing Sukiyabashi stone. Overall, the renovation reconstructed the subtle, unaffected charm of this park that has melted into the city in its role as gateway to Ginza.
