三井アウトレットパーク
横浜ベイサイド 駐車街区
隣接するMOP横浜ベイサイドの建設に伴い周辺に分散配置される立体駐車場のひとつであり、他の駐車場からアウトレットモールへと至る動線の役割を併せ持つ施設。素材や色彩はアウトレットモールと合わせエリア全体の統一感を図った。海に面してロングベンチを配し、前面に広がるマリーナの風景を楽しむことのできる溜りの空間を設けるとともに、駐車場棟に沿う120mに及ぶ一直線の歩行者動線には床面のデザインと合わせてパネル割を変えた木製スクリーンを配置した。リズムに変化をつけ単調な長い道路とはちがう魅力的なアプローチとし、アウトレットへの期待を高める空間づくりを目指した。

Mitsui Outlet Park
Yokohama Bayside Parking Lots
This is one of the multi-story parking lots following the construction of the adjacent MOP Yokohama Bayside. Its structure contributes to the flow line that connects other parking lots to the outlet mall. Materials and colors were matched with those of the outlet mall to create a sense of unity throughout the area. Long benches facing the sea were placed to provide a space of gathering and a place where one could enjoy the view of the marina. Wooden screens with various panel layouts were placed along the 120m long pedestrian path on the side of the parking lot to create an attractive style approach, unlike long and monotonous paths, and to produce a sense of space that heightens the mood and expectations for the shopping journey.
